Launch of Platform for Creating Casino Games

Meta Games Universal, otherwise known as MetaGU, is a British company that has launched a trial version of a system that will allow platform providers and operators to create their own online casino games.

The system, known as CargoF, will allow platform providers and operators to create casino games without the need for software programming expertise. The system uses a visual toolset which is downloadable from the company's website. A spokesman for Meta Game Universal said, "By utilizing CargoF, development timescales are reduced, costs lowered and differentiation in the market place becomes easy."

The spokesman continued on that "the online casino market is plagued with similar looking games; often to the point where players forget which website they are on. Developing good unique games has been an expensive and slow process, but CargoF changes that, and provides the ability to "Deep Re-brand" an existing game."

Many online casino games may have the same mathematics and underlying mechanics, but they can be produced to look and feel different for the players. He continued on that "shallow re-branding" is already available from some standard re-skinning systems, however these re-brands are similar to the original games to the point that most players can tell that they are simply a copy of an existing game. CargoF would provide a deeper re-branding system to prevent games coming out with the copied feel that current re-branding produces.

Platform providers and operators can use the Graphical User Interface of CargoF to create casino and instant play games. The game source codes and executables are auto generated so that the designer does not have to worry about software programming. This provides a level of guaranteed quality, in addition to streamlining the testing and approval process. As a result, platform providers who use the CargoF system can supply operators with a differentiated library of games that can be swiftly developed at a reduced cost.

The Chief Executive Officer of Meta Games Universal, Owen Cullum, stated: "In today's casino marketplace everyone is struggling to differentiate themselves and game development difficulty is at the heart of this problem. Operators with the same content as everyone else will be inevitably involved in a classic case of a 'race to the bottom' and it's difficult to see how they will survive that process. CargoF will change things by enabling differentiation, faster time to market and reduced costs."
