Jesper Svensson of InterCasino said that his team is as excited at this win as is Lorraine. He added, "It's always great to share in the joy of seeing someone's life changed." Svensson pointed out that it was the Millionaires Club progressive slot on which Obaesso made a hit in 2007 that was worth more than £5.9 million. Converted to US dollars this amounted to more than $8 million and stands the largest progressive jackpot hit in any online casino till date. The InterCasino website still shows a picture of Obaesso collecting his check from model Sophie Anderton. The way such huge jackpot wins can affect players' lives is apparent from the statement made by Obaesso. Two things stand out from that statement. He said that he would be taking his family on a really great holiday and many of them have never flown before. His second statement was more poignant.
