Elimination Blackjack Via Live Dealer Casino Game

Elimination Blackjack is a form of blackjack tournament that is very popular on the online casinos that offer it. Normally the cards are dealt using the computer's random number generator. Now GPS Global has developed software that will introduce Live Dealers and increase the excitement levels.

In Elimination Blackjack the hands are played as in normal blackjack games. The exact rules may vary from online casino to online casino, but in this case these variations are not important because the players are playing against each other and not against the house. Each player starts with the same chip stack and the players play a set number of hands. If players lose all their chips then they automatically get eliminated. Players also get eliminated through specified elimination rounds. At the end of these rounds the player with the smallest chip stack has to go. The player with the highest chip stack at the end of the designated number of deals or the only player not to be eliminated is the winner.

Last month GPS Global came up with an announcement that its Live Dealer Elimination Blackjack Software will soon be ready. Live Dealer software is already in use in certain online casino games like Roulette, Red Dog Poker, Baccarat and Three Card Poker. In this system real dealers actually deal cards to the online casino table via a web camera. This enables players to get a feel of land casino environment. Lawrence Davis, Director of Casino Operations for GPS Global said, "Having Live Dealer Blackjack Tournaments was the next logical step, and we're proud to be one of the first companies to offer them. GPS Global is anxious to show the world how far online casino technology has progressed in the last few years, and soon we will announce when the betting public can see the results of our hard work."

Apart from Elimination Blackjack, GPS Global is working on Live Dealer versions for two other popular online casino games. These games are Let It Ride Poker and Casino War. Davis added, "We are already the leader in our industry when it comes to variety of games, but we want to offer as many games to our customers as possible."

Though the exact dates of the release of the Live Dealer software for Elimination Blackjack and the other games is yet to be announced GPS Global has already lined up licensees. One of the licensees is the Costa Rica based LazerWager that offers sports betting and casino games in addition to Live Dealer games. Another licensee is Deal4RealCasino.
