Roxy Palace Casino has just released the list of online casino games that Microgaming will be releasing in the New Year in January 2009. The Roxy Palace Casino announcement states that four exciting new games will be released in January. Of the four three are predictably online slots. The fourth game being released in January is the fourth game in Microgaming's new video poker series of Level Up poker. The game is Joker Poker, which is a popular variant of video poker. It is played with a 53-card deck, the 53rd card being a joker. The joker acts as a wild card and substitutes for any card in order to make a paying poker hand. It also creates the unique hand of five of a kind, which has four cards of the same rank with the fifth card being a joker. The Level Up format of video poker was introduced by Microgaming earlier this year. Four hands can be played one after the other. But this is no cause for worry because there are special features to help the player.
