Online slot game releases from Rival Gaming are gathering speed. Soon after the release of the A Switch in Time i-slot the leading online gaming software provider has come out with Heavyweight Gold. This is a boxing themed i-slot that will enthrall boxing fans. The introductory clip has the boxer getting ready for the bout and then delivering the knock out punch in the ring to win the coveted belt. Excellent audio accompanies the clip with sounds of bell ringing and punches hitting their target. The symbols on the reels are evocative of boxing. The Boxer, the Referee, the Bell, the Prize Belt and the Bucket and Towel all feature on the reels. There are some nifty animations. The boxer starts exercising with the Dumbbells and starts punching the Punching Bag when these symbols appear in winning combinations. The Gloves are expanding wild symbols. Whenever they appear on the reels they expand to cover all three rows and this enhances the payouts. Players will receive heavy weight payouts if they can get two reels with the expanding wilds.
Heavyweight Gold has two scatter symbols. The Ring Girl triggers the free spins bonus round. Three Ring Girl symbols offer 10 free spins, four Ring Girl symbols offer 20 free spins and five Ring Girl symbols offer a whopping 100 free spins. All payouts are tripled during the free spins. The Opponent is also a scatter symbol, but this triggers the Heavyweight Gold bonus round. If 3 or more Opponent symbols appear on the reels players are sent to the second screen. The bonus game simulates a real boxing bout complete with the spectators cheering and the referee counting. The player controls the boxer’s actions. The boxer either attacks the opponent or defends himself from being attacked. The game goes on till one of them is knocked out. Bonus credits are awarded depending on the boxer’s performance. After each bonus game the Opponent changes and the next bout is fought with a different opponent. This exhibits the i-slot characteristic of Heavyweight Gold.
Heavyweight Gold is a 5 reel and 20 payline slot game. Rival Gaming has estimated the average payout percentage for this slot game to be about 96%. Players can wager up to 10 coins per line and the coin dimensions range from $0.01 to $0.10. Heavyweight Gold does not have a progressive jackpot. However the fixed jackpot prizes are heavy weight. The highest jackpot is 1000 coins when five Boxer symbols appear in an enabled payline. Heavyweight Gold can be played at all Rival Gaming online casinos. If you haven't yet checked out the Wizard Gaming boxing themed game it's pretty impressive as is the one that Playtech released not that long ago although the Playtech game isn't really a slot game but more of a 50/50 type gamble feature game. It has great graphics but takes a while to download. This new iSlot game looks pretty good as well. I'll have to give it a shot!

Looks like an interesting game. I'm not overly familiar with all that many of their online casino games but this one sure does look interesting!

Does look like a pretty cool looking game. The i-slot as a concept in general is a good one as interactivity in slots games is often times lacking. Cool looking game although I wish that these guys at Rival Gaming would put some more effort into the symbols within their games. I think that they're nice and all but they could definitely be better and images that they use (graphically that is).
