Beretta's Vendetta is the new slot game from the software provider Rival Gaming. It is one of the best action themed slot games ever released with excellent audio visual special effects. It belongs to the recently launched series of Rival Gaming 3D slots.

The story begins 25 years ago when Beretta was a junior policeman. He had gone to fetch a bite for his senior colleagues sitting in the police car. In full view Mr. Dynamite wearing a rabbit mask activated a detonating device and blew up the police car. Now Beretta is a top cop and to him the vendetta is not just a part of the job, it is personal.

The slot game opens with Mr. Dynamite holed up in a city building and Beretta laying siege. On the left of the reels is his crack team waiting to enter and from the right side Beretta directs the operation. All through the game play he keeps making statements like "Don't let him get away this time" and "Do you see any hostages".

The game is controlled by the four main symbols that have become a standard feature in Rival Gaming slot games. The helicopter is the wild symbol and it is an expanding wild. The rows join to show a city scene with skyscrapers in the background. Beretta says "Bring in the bird" and the helicopter makes a grand entry. The scatter symbol is the elite SWAT team. When three or more appear on the reels scatter payouts are made. On the animation the SWAT team does a reconnaissance of the area and gives the all clear. The Mr. Dynamite symbol triggers the free spins bonus round. Three symbols scattered on an active payline award six free spins; four symbols award 12 free spins and five symbols award 18 free spins. The free spins are played automatically in the special bonus game.

The highlight of the Beretta's Vendetta slot is the bonus game on the second screen. The setting is the aerial view of the city with the seven banks marked where Mr. Dynamite had placed bombs. The player gets as many turns as there are bonus symbols on the screen. In each turn, the player selects one of the banks and the view zooms in. A second view shows the frontage of the bank and the third view the time bomb. The SWAT team manages to cut the wire with just 0.01 seconds left in the timer.
